HP Product Flaws: Replacement At No Cost To You
Error in memory modules discovered by HP during routine testing causes blue screens, intermitten lockups or memory corruption on close to 900,000 HP or Compaq laptops.
These corrupted memory modules were built between March 2002 and July 2003 by Micron, Samsung, Winbond and Infineon.
If you own some versions of Compaq Evo notebooks, HP and Compaq Business Notebook nx7000 and the HP Pavilion zt3000, then you may want to participate in the voluntary replacement program at no cost to you.
