Find Tutoring and Translating Services from LiveTutorOnline University
Topic: Kids/Family

More and more parents are tapping into a new kind of resources for their kids. They are turning to e-tutoring, online tutoring or Internet tutoring. They do not mind about the eye-to-eye contact that their children miss. In the comfort of their homes, they can access their highly educated teachers or tutors through the use of their computer, a headset and a microphone. They see online tutoring as a way to get high-quality instruction at a lower cost. That is exactly the types of services that Live Tutor Online University has been offering. Just like other tutoring companies such as Fremont-based Growing Stars, Chicago-based Mindspring online education firm, New York-based Brainfuse, students can come from anywhere in the United States and the world. LiveTutorOnline University has been offering its services to individuals as well as businesses in the areas of tutoring, translating, interpreting and referrals to interpreters and translators of other foreign languages.

With the No Child Left Behind law, good tutoring and good public schools should be available to every student, regardless of the family's income. This is where LiveTutorOnline University becomes handy. According to its founder, the company hires or refers clients (grade students, college and/or university students and businesses) to expert tutors and teachers with Bachelor's degrees and Master's degrees. Each one of them has an expertise in a special category and specially hard science such as Math and Science. They also help translate and interpret. For sure, lack of face-to-face instruction is not a problem any longer. Live tutors from Livetutoronline University offer an invaluable service to parents who work two jobs and have no way of helping their kids complete their homework. They also help students who want to edit their work. They are very flexible.

Current Trends in Fashion You Should Wear: What's In, What's Out for this Fall Fashion Season

Current Trends in Fashion You Should Wear: What's In, What's Out for this Fall Fashion Season

Lifestyle and Fashion Mag Reviews: From Harper's Bazaar to Middle East Elle for Arab Women

High-neck blouses are in. They are great to wear with Fall's large variety of outerwear options. Opera-length gloves are also in. However, fingerless motorcycle gloves are on their way out. Bell-shape dresses add volume to your look. Metallics are also in. Use a combination of rich and fresh fabrics which can be mixed up with black. Oversize bags are in. Now you do not have to limit yourself to Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's clutches. How much can you carry in your bag? Think about Mary-Kate Olsen's Christian Louboutin's pumps, Ashley Olsen's Hermes Birkin bag and Mischa Barton's Chanel bag. You will soon fall in love with Fendi bags. Wear them any time you want for any function. Rolex watches are still in. Lanvin, Rickard Shah and Manolo Blahnik's shoes are in too. Giambattista Valli's dresses, Gucci cocktail dress and Dries Van Noten embroidered jacket are hot. Anything that bears the name of or is from Balenciaga with Ghesquiere is hot.

While talking about bags, there a few ones that are all the rage right now. This season will see the launch of a lot of type of shoes and bags. Bag and shoe designers are not going to be intimidated. They will try to satisfy the tastes. Industry insiders are saying that basic styles have taken a backseat to ornate adornment, patchwork, and mixed skins and textures. A bag is a great accessory to invest in right now. Bags are getting bigger and heels are getting higher. Leggings are back. They are all over the haute couture and fashion magazines. Models and stars are wearing them to their functions. They will also wear a big sweater, a sweaterdress and many layers of knit. The question to ask is whether the rest of America will start joining the rage of wearing leggings. Designers and celebs such as Diane Kruger, Lindsay Lohan, Joy Bryant, Molly Sims, Charlize Theron, Derek Lam and other top supermodels are wearing legwear. Today's leggings are sophisticated. Designers tighten their new versions. This way, they won't look saggy. Leggings become chic and elegant once more. They are no teenage trends any longer. Young upscale consumers can wear them. Leggings are for layering. Wear dark leggings to emphasize your figure. Leggings will soon become the skinny pants. Women can wear them to flaunt their figure and appeals. Keep in mind that feminity defines fashion. If you want to see some of the designers' collection, check with Donatella Versace, Lam, Thakoon Panichgul, Vince, Anna Sui, Falke and Lover. Store owners are stocking their store with their designs.

Tule and chiffon in shocking red and severe black tend to cast a lighter tone on the season's statement dresses. If you want to see some of these dresses, check out Givenchy, Barneys New York, Wolford, Stella McCartney, Beauty Bazaar, Marc Jacobs, Neiman Marcus, Fedora, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Patricia Underwood, LaCrasia Gloves, Oscar de La Renta, Cristobal Ballenciaga collection, Proeza Schouler, Shaneen Huxham, J. Mendel, Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, and Bottega Veneta. Luxurious black will be the main color this fall fashion season.

Drivers Want to Downsize Gas-guzzling SUVs to Cars with Better Mileage

Everybody is Getting Pinched: From the pizza delivery Guy, Home Builders, Construction Workers, Farm Workers to Real Estate Agents

I read with great delight that some company stocks are going up. Apple is doing well. So are Wal-Mart and countless others. Luxury home builder Toll Brothers reported a 3 % increase in net income for the second quarter. Just like any other company, oil-derived materials such as PVC pipes and other building products costs went up. Even the trucks that used to deliver the products start charging more. It has been noted that investors have become pessimistic about the housing market. In some California towns, they pull out completely. As the market slows down, builders will have to start devising gimmicks and incentives to get this rich niche of buyers. Everyone knows that luxury homes are a discretionary product. Those who are on the market specifically for such homes can afford to wait for better deals. Investing their money in those homes will have to see that home builders want to sweeten the deals.

Companies as well as individuals are looking for ways to cut costs: Honda, Toyota, Kia, Nissan & Chevrolet Offer Econoboxes

Teens en route to Prom died in Head-on Collision

Such headlines can surprise any parents or any school administrator. The teenage couple and the teen driver of the on-coming vehicle also perished. What is alarming even in these days is that none of them was wearing a seat belt.

As prom celebrations continue to take place all over the country, it is fair to remind our teens to drive safely and wear their seat belt. Prom only happens during a night. It is not worry being killed over. The accidents happen before high school prom in Minnessota.

All The Places That California Residents Can Shop

Growing Income and Population Bring More Shopping Choices to Central San Joaquin Valley

Shopping and Dining in the Central San Joaquin Valley or Greater Fresno-Clovis Area Becomes Easier

The saying goes like this. If you build it, they will come. But we will say that if you give residents of the Fresno-Clovis areas enough reasons to shop, they will come. In fact, shoppers from the Valley have been going to places such as Santa Barbara and San Francisco or the Bay Area to shop. The taste for high-end stores has been growing for a long time. The internal migration and relocation of shoppers and loyal consumers from Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area who are used to shopping at these upscale stores also helped a great deal the frenzy building seen everywhere around here. Of course, this is not new to the number crunchers, financial managers of all the stores visited by residents of Central California. They have known for a long time that shoppers from specific zip codes come to their stores. But the volume starts going up, it was time to pay attention to the Greater Fresno-Clovis Area shopping bloc.

Right now, for these retailers that have set up shop around here first, there is lots of benefit to reap. We decided to go shopping to see for ourselves. What is new always attracts more people. Who was not there at the opening of the first Cheesecake Factory in Fresno? My best friend and I decided to hop from new shops to new restaurants in one week-end. We soon found out that the list was too long to cover in one week-end. Since that time, we have been able to divide our time between shopping at new stores and eating at new dining establishments.

To get started, we decided to go from the Fig Garden Village, Fashion Fair Mall, the Shops at River Park, Villagio Shopping Center and the spreading shopping centers on Herndon near Clovis and Champlain and Perrin by the Woodward Park areas. The Fig Garden Village which Donahue Schriber bought from LandValue Management has always had a lot of high-end retail shops frequented by most socialites of Fresno, Clovis and surrounding communities. Among many others, it will soon have Banana Republic which sells upscale clothes, accessories and shoes. J. Jill is scheduled to be there. J. Jill is known for its catalog business. It carries women's clothing that is typically aimed at affluent women between age 35 and older. Coach will open in June. It is known mostly for its high-end purses, luggage, wallets and accessories. One thing that became clear is that location is what sells real estate. The Fig Garden Village has a large group of various banking institutions, retail businesses, restaurants such as La Boulangerie, stores such as Whole Foods and the Fig Garden Village bookstore. No matter how appealing the atmosphere was there, we had to keep up with our plans. So we got into our cars and headed out on Shaw towards Fashion Fair Mall, owned by the Macerich Co. which also owns more than 100 shopping centers from Carmel Plaza in Carmel and all the way to Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento. Then, you have other high-end stores such as Chico's Talbots and Patrick James which have been doing good business here.

Kimora & Russell Simmons Are Separated
Topic: Music:_Salsa/Hiphop

There was some truth to the rumors. The two were separated for some time.

In a joint press release, they confirmed the rumors. They will remain friends and parents of their two girls. "After selling his share in the company to Universal Music Group for $100 million in 1999, Simmons returned to the Def Jam fold last year in a joint venture with the Russell Simmons Music Group. He's also been active in political and social causes, founding the Hip-Hop Summit and participating in campaigns for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Kimora Lee was discovered in her teens and became a sought-after model thanks to her exotic good looks (her father is African-American, her mother, Japanese-American). She has become a hugely successful designer, with her Baby Phat clothing label and the Hello Kitty jewelry. Additionally, Lee's a reality-TV personality, appearing on best friend Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model and her own VH1 series, Fabulosity, which is also the title of her first book, published last month by Regan Books. Prom Dresses & Quinceanera Gowns Can Start with Oscar Fashion Knockoffs
Topic: PromQuincenera Planning

No swan dresses, no Bob Mackie showgirl costumes, no self-designed frocks were to be found at last night's Oscars. With the proliferation of online media ready to rip apart a starlet's sartorial choices in excruciating detail, no actress who values her career dares to step outside the house without being vetted by a virtual army of stylists, makeup artists and publicists. This has led to major increase in the number of actresses who look quite pulled-together on the Red Carpet, but -- alas -- has also caused the event to lose some of its best fun: looking for the actress who'll be this year's equivalent of Bjork in a giant swan outfit with matching egg-shaped purse.

Here are some women who got it really, really right last night. On the far left is Jessica Alba looking enchanting in a gold column dress with halter top, sweeping train and elaborate embroidery by Versace. Jessica told Isaac Mizrahi (who didn't grope her even once) that she was wearing Christian Dior lip gloss, that they have the best lip glosses.

Nicole Kidman looks stunning in a Balenciaga strapless ivory sheath dress which features ivory embroidery. Her rose-cut diamond earrings are by Fred Leighton.

New mommy Jennifer Garner really looked fabulous in this low-cut, empire-style dress with Swarovski crystals and sterling silver flowers, by Michael Kors. The dress also has quite a train on it and when Jennifer went out to present the award for Best Costume, she tripped on the hem and nearly avoided a nasty fall. Ever the trooper, the Alias star quipped "Thank you. I do all my own stunts." Did you hear that they're going to cut around eight of the final Alias episodes when the second half of season five starts airing in April? That makes us so mad!

But back to Jessica Alba, who noted in an interview that she was a bit nervous about presenting at the Oscars: it's true that Into the Blue wasn't exactly Oscar material. But remember, Best Supporting Actress winner Rachel Weisz got her start in The Mummy and The Mummy 2, as the announcer reminded a billion people as she made her way to pick up her statuette. So, hold your head high, Jessica and look for that script that requires you to 1) cry 2) get really angry and, most importantly, 3) look like hell. Then you, too, could have your Oscar-winnning moment.
