Beauty at what Price? The Pain Behind all the white-faced Fronts

According to doctors, consumer groups and governement officials, there are dangerous consequences that result from the proliferation of fake skin-whitening products found on the black market. Keep in mind that the products have acids that remove old skin to reveal newer, lighter skin underneath. Some of the creams that most women are using in these countries contain powerful but illegal bleaching agents. Some of the users of the creams end up looking roasted. They look very different from what they looked before applying the creams. Others are suffering from the ridicule and mockery of others who start calling them "spirits, ghosts, zombies or vampires."

Tiffany wanted to be beautiful in her wedding dress. But she did not want to be disfigured. She wanted her fianc to be proud of her when she decided to start applying face-whitening cream. At first, she started seeing the good results. She soon had some other ideas. She wanted to apply the cream all over her body. This time, she was in for a few surprises. Now Tiffany is wondering whether her skin will be healed enough to even get married to her fianc. She starts doubting her beauty. She goes out less now. She is wondering whether she will be married in October as planned. Yet, she is under a lot of pressure by her parents who want her to get married during this extended lunar year in order to get good fortune. Until next February 27, Asians believe that the extended lunar year will bring them good omen, wealth, health and better chance if they get hitched. This new flurry of weddings has come to keep many restaurants, taylors and banquet owners busy. In the Bay Area and all over California, Asians are getting married in order to get blessed.

Break The Secrets of Traveling with The Da Vinci Code: Hot Da Vinci Code Location Tours

What are the top locales described by Dan Brown in the Da Vinci Code book and movie?

There is no doubt a new segment of the travel industry has just been made popular by the hugely fiction novel, The Da Vinci Code. Location Travel has always been around in books such as Midnight in the Garden of Eden, The Sea and the Old Man, and various movies such as Lord of the Rings in the case of New Zealand. Dan Brown and his wife took the idea of location travel to a higher level. Without any doubt, fans and regular tourists will want to visit France, London and elsewhere to inquire about the sites mentioned in the book. So far, The Louvre remains one of the most famous destinations. Keep in mind that The Louvre is in Paris and is also the repository of Leonardo Da Vinci's most famous painting, Mona Lisa.

Saint-Sulpice Church has gorgeous Delacroix frescoes and a tall obelisk with a golden ball. The next place to visit is Chateau Villette owned by a California realtor. It is not open to the public. What a great advertisement for this great 185-acre estate that is open for vacations, weddings and other events? Next comes Temple Church in London. As far as London is concerned, there are a lot of interesting sites to see. While traveling with The Code, one will never stop enjoying the Westminster Abbey which is one of the most visited churches in London. We must add that the priest of the Westminster Abbey did not let the crew shoot the film at the abbey. So they had to go to another church and create a replica decor to match that of Westminster Abbey. Rosslyn Chapel as well as the Vatican and other places mentioned in the book and movie should be part of anybody's travel plans.

More and more tourists will find a trip to Europe very interesting this year.

Topic: California Prom Dresses

Who wore what at this year’s Oscar Award Ceremony?

The ladies of Hollywood stole the show with their flowing dresses and gowns. Also, the designers had a great presentation with the stars who donned their creations. Among them, we can say that Vera Wang had a great show. Keira Knightley donned a great wine-colored, one-shoulder gown designed by Vera Wang. It must be noted that white or off-white colors were worn for the most part tonight. Knightley complemented this beautiful gown with a spectacular necklace with emeralds, rubies and diamonds that come from the Bulgari archives. She also wore gold sandals with multiple ankle straps designed by Jimmy Choo. Miss Knightley who is 20 years old turned heads on the red carpet. Her makeup artist used steel and charcoal chanel eye colors on her face. Kudos to Kate Lee who tried to find the right tone to apply to her pigmentation.

With her hair swept in a 1930s style, Michelle Williams wore a marigold yellow chiffon gown with tulle pleats that surround the V neck allowing her to display a 19th-century diamond fringe necklace from the shop of Fred Leighton. Sandra Bullock glowed on the red carpet. The beauty of her dress was a natural attraction, specially when she emerged from the back to present an award. Angel Sanchez dressed Sandra with a navy dress. As far as Amy Adams, she wore a chocolate brown gown with ribbon by Carolina Herrera. Adams also borrowed Herrera's own aquamarine dangling earrings.

Other leading ladies also showed their love for dresses and gowns on this special night. John Galliano for Christian Dior dressed Charlize Theron with a forest-green handpainted gown with a giant bow on the shoulder. She also commented on the leather silk satin fabric. How about Marc Anthony’s wife, Jennifer Lopez? ." Jennifer Lopez wore a lighter green gown with a fitted bodice that laced up in the back like a corset. It is safe to say that Jennifer wore one of the best dresses on the red carpet tonight. Corset is making a comeback. More and more Hollywood and New York ladies are wearing it. Giorgio Armani dressed Zivi Zhang in a black scalloped seashell-shaped lace bustier with jet beading worn with a gray Swarovski crystal encrusted full crinoline skirt. Hilary Swank was donned in a sweetheart-style black strapless gown by Versace. Ah! Versace always stunned the public with one of the house’s black creations!

Reese Witherspoon wore a gown with rows of silver beads. Her husband was very elegant in his three-piece suit with a black tie. She was happy to catch the best actress award this evening. Zac Posen dressed Felicity Huffman in a supersexy black gown with a V neck, keyhole back, sheer panels on the side and pleated bodice and hem. Salma Hayek introduced the winner of best score with Brokeback Mountain. She had on a slate blue gown. Roberto Cavalli dressed Jada Pinkett Smith in a bright blue strapless column gown. Jada Pinkett is Will Smith’s wife. Meryl Streep's plum V-neck gown with long sleeves looked superb with the dangling earrings she wore. On the red carpet, Isaac Mizrahi behaved tonight. There was no side show. Jennifer Garner wore a halter-style, hand-embroidered Michael Kors gown in nude-colored tulle featuring Swarovski crystals and sterling silver flowers. Other important ladies of Hollywood also wore key dresses and gowns. Nicole Kidman was in a cream-colored strapless gown with beautiful delicate embroidery, and Naomi Watts wore a nude-colored, one-shoulder gown with frayed fabric on the top by Givenchy. Rochas donned Jennifer Anniston in a black tank gown with a long train and a vintage platinum-and-diamond Bulgari necklace from the 1930s. Her makeup artist, Angela Levin, also used Chanel mascara on her. Helena Bonham Carter wore an off-the-shoulder, tea-length blue satin gown.
